Steve Suraci is not your typical designer. He spent most of his education years concentrating on business and marketing, earning his master of business administration degree. Following his creative passions, Steve left the corporate world to study interior design. His diverse background and experience provie a unique foundation for his work. Consequently, his designs reflect a careful balance of practical considerations and creative aesthetic awareness.

After working with one of Toronto's leading design firms, Steve esablished icarus designs (id) in July of 2000. Since then, id has developed into a multidisciplinary practice, catering to both residential and commercial clients. Id offers integrated services in the areas of interior and exterior design, strategic branding, product development, merchandising/styling, and lifestyle development.

From a design perspective, id strives to transform residential and commercial lifestyles to meet the needs of a diverse clientele. Drawing from both classical and contemporary elements, id is committed to working with clients to create modern, sophisitcated, yet timeless designs. Their aim is to establish a synergistic relationship, believing it is vital to develop design solutions that evolve as a thoughtful response to client desires, practical considerations and existing conditions.

Icarus Designs and Steve Suraci are headquartered in the west end of Toronto Onatario Canada. Steve has been featured in numerous print publications and as a featured designer on such television shows as Restaurant Makeover and HGTV's Home to Go.
