Keep Small Children and Pets Safe at Home
October is Window Coverings Safety Month, and as part of Budget Blinds Safe at Home initiative, I want to encourage families to look for hidden hazards around windows, particularly window cords.
While nothing can replace the careful watch of a loving parent or caregiver, I encourage parents of infants and toddlers to opt for cordless or motorized treatments to eliminate the hazards posed by dangling window cords.
