1. New window treatments. Even a modest refund can buy you some great new window treatments that can change the look of any room. For added money savings, look for blinds or drapes that insulate your home as well. You might just end up with beautiful windows and some lower utility bills.
2. Replace that old, worn-out carpet. Even if you can only do one room, replacing your floors will up the value of your home and make your living space feel cleaner and more up-to-day.
