Zabitatz: Inspiration for YOUR home

It's April in NH and the snow is all gone. That means it's time to clean up the yard. I live on a dirt road so all the sand dirt and rocks from the road that got plowed up with the snow always end up in my lawn. We usually just rake out what we can and put down some fresh topsoil.

Anyone have any ideas on how we can clean up our lawn and perhaps keep this from being such a huge mess in the future?

Get a leaf blower and blow that dirt back in the street where it came from :)
You could edge your yard with large and small stones so that you wouldn't have to worry about the dirt since nothint would be growing there anyway.
If you can leave the area near the road natural (no grass) it will be a lot easier to keep up with. You can just put pine straw or mulch over it in the spring so that it will look nice.
Move to Texas :)
