Zabitatz: Inspiration for YOUR home

I'm so frustrated. My lawn is a mess and I don't know where to begin. For starters, we have these horrible bees living in the ground that I can't seem to get rid of. There's more of them every year and any bug killing chemicals I've tried haven't sent them packing.

I alos have splotchy patches where the grass won't grow. We've tried seeding and got some grass to grow but the next year, it didn't come back.

I really can't afford to have professionals come in to fix my lawn. Please help!

One thing I learned the hard way is that they make an annual grass seed. I worked so hard to get my lawn looking beautiful, and the next spring it didn't come back! I looked on the back of the bag, and discovered it said it was an annual (in fairly small print). Now I always look to make sure I check the bag to make sure it's a perennial seed before I start planting.
Great tip. I would have never thought of that. I don't still have the bag but I will definitely look more carefully at the bag next time I give it a try.
